Philosophy:
Change is a natural part of life, but that doesn’t always mean it is comfortable. Transitions can include adolescence, moving into adulthood, relocation, the birth of a child, marriage, break-ups, starting a new career, empty nesting, retirement, or the loss of a loved one. These events are exciting opportunities to grow, but they can also lead to stress, anxiety, depression, or abuse of drugs and alcohol. Develop the path forward in a safe, supportive, nonjudgmental space. Together we can explore ways to achieve a peaceful and fulfilled life. Change can be difficult. A commitment to try something different is the first step.
My Background
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Licensed Clinical Drug and Alcohol Counselor experienced in working with Adolescents, Adults, Couples, and Families. I use evidence-based practices to create individualized care plans for my clients. I am a graduate of Vanderbilt University and received an MSW from Monmouth University. My approach is supportive and strength-based. I have provided services in a variety of clinical settings including outpatient, inpatient, and intensive outpatient. I have specialized training in addiction. I understand how drug and alcohol use can affect the entire family, and often the best way to encourage a loved one into substance treatment is to focus on the non-using family member. Whatever the challenge, I am passionate about helping my clients promote inner strength, build confidence, and achieve life balance.

Deidre Stamos Lonza, LCSW, LCADC is an Out of Network Provider. This means that payment is due in full at time of service. A fully coded receipt will be provided if you wish to submit to your insurance carrier for reimbursement/application towards deductible. Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan.
